Dr. Alex Lopez is a proud Cuban-American (fluent in Spanish!), born and raised in Naples, FL. Since graduation, he has been fortunate to work in his hometown - first in a corporate setting and most recently at Cameron Dental Studio. He now looks forward to opening his own office in the community. Dr. Lopez has cared for patients across Southwest Florida, building trusted relationships through attentive listening and tailored treatment plans. He has advanced training through an abundance of continuing education in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
His upcoming practice will feature modern technology, evidence-based techniques, and a supportive team that prioritizes the comfort of every patient at each visit.

At the core of his treatment philosophy, Dr. Lopez believes in the Golden Rule: "treat others how you would like to be treated." Whether treating complex dental issues or working with patients to achieve their ideal smile, Dr. Lopez prioritizes comfort, clear communication, and evidence-based decisions. He believes the best dentistry happens when patients feel heard, understood, and empowered through education.
Dr. Lopez practices the full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry, from root canals and extractions to minimally-invasive veneers. Dr. Lopez has built a reputation for being ethical, compassionate, and patient-focused — combining modern technology with a calm, educational approach that helps people feel confident in their care.
Outside of the Office
Outside the operatory, Dr. Lopez enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and goldendoodle Reggie. Together they enjoy traveling, exploring SWFL restaurants, and staying active. Dr. Lopez is a big sports fan (Go Gators!), an avid basketball player, and a lousy-but-determined musician (saxophone and piano).
